CAROLYN MONACO works with business leaders who are ready to re-assess their brand, messaging and platform. (Often, that platform includes a pending book as well as a speaking career.)
Carolyn—a seasoned consultant—brings over 25 years of hands-on marketing experiences to every engagement.
She started her firm in 2009. Previously, Carolyn was Marketing Director for Harvard Business Publishing’s Press division. There, she launched 50-60 books annually with a wide range of authors including John Kotter, Gary Hamel, Marshall Goldsmith, Howard Gardner, Tammy Erickson, and Roger Martin to name a few.
Carolyn’s career began in Boston at The Atlantic Monthly magazine. She was then recruited to work for a number of fast-growing businesses including Lotus Development, America’s Test Kitchen, Inc. and Fast Company magazine.
Carolyn subsequently co-founded a for-profit media company for Tufts University called Tufts Media, building its revenues to $6 million through product development and acquisitions. Afterward she moved to Harvard Business Publishing where she was named Marketing Director of the Press.
Today, Carolyn works with a limited number of clients at a time to ensure the right amount of time and attention for everyone. Her team—like so many entrepreneurial ventures today—is virtual, and features a number of road-tested “super-specialists” who can step up to serve as needed.
If you are a business leader who specializes in leadership, innovation, management, or talent development, Carolyn’s expertise may benefit you the most.
